Spoiler alert, I’m not the visionary.

…but I have 20+ years of experience working with, for, and alongside some of the world’s most visionary design talents, from fashion advertising to visual and interior design, building brands, spaces, and the stories that weave them together.

Having long been the multidisciplinary, cross-functional bridge between clients + creatives, teams + managers, staff + leadership, I believe that creativity can go so much further when it’s nurtured by the right systems and led from a place of integrity and alignment.

Today, my mission with Frameworks is to help design leaders create the conditions for healthier, happier creative companies.

Informed insights from the inside out.

(Or, why you should trust me)

I’ve been in your shoes, and I’ve sat on all sides of the table: client services, project management, brand strategy, studio operations, agency leadership, the client. And I’ve worn all the hats—good cop, bad cop, work therapist, fixer, jill of all trades. Which means I have a uniquely well-rounded perspective on the creative business from the inside out. I’m your informed outsider and objective insider.

  • As a leader and former COO navigating creative teams, client relationships, finance, ops, & growth, I know what it’s like to make the tough decisions behind the scenes.

  • As former employee and rising manager, I remember what it’s like to feel unequipped, undervalued, misaligned, or not be given the right tools, guidance, and mentorship in order to grow.

  • Having been client services & client-side, I have an externally-oriented POV that helps me help you see the forest for the trees.

Past & Present

(How I got here)

Prior to this, I was Fractional COO of RoAndCo, and before that, COO of Brand Bureau, the creative agency arm of global design firm AvroKO, where I led a 40-person team of strategists, designers, and architects, overseeing all operations, culture, new business, and financial management. I’ve worked with industry-leading marketers and developers, independent restaurateurs and big hotel brands alike.

I graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Art History, and am a member of The WIE Suite, the leading community for women leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs. I’m also President of the NY Chapter of AAPIDA and a mentor with AIGA NY. I’m based in New York City.

(The way, way back)

My creative career began in account management at renowned fashion agency Laird+Partners, working on iconic brands like Donna Karan and Gap. In 2006, I joined multidisciplinary design firm AvroKO (by answering a Craigslist ad!) to build out their graphic design division. Fast forward a few chapters, I later rejoined AvroKO as Director of Strategy at Brand Bureau, where my team and I created brands and designed spaces for clients across the lifestyle and hospitality spectrums.

Select clients include luxury hotels (Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, IHG, The Londoner) to cult favorite F&B brands (Levain Bakery, Popeyes), as well as clients in beauty, real estate, and entertainment.

Future Forward

(Building community through design)
